I recently became interested in traditional archery. I bought an entry level recurve bow, a Galaxy Sage. The Sage is a great bow in terms of value, but is loud and needs some taming. I shot it for a few weeks with the stock Dacron B-50 string, and then added beaver fur string silencers. They helped some, but weren’t the solution I had hoped for. A few weeks later, I bought an upgraded D-97 string. I also bought these Navajo wool string silencers and installed them along with some calf hair limb silencers. The combination is much quieter than the stock string with beaver fur silencers.I have read some of the negative reviews which say they had these silencers come apart, etc. I installed them according to the enclosed instructions. Because of those reviews, I also watched the installation video on the seller’s web site. Installation could not have been easier, and I have had none of the issues described. I am happy with their performance and would buy them again.

Quieted my bow quite a bit. Love the look on my recurve, but wouldn't put on a bow with slimmer limbs/riser. They are.. pooffy. Helped silenced my bow (more than the beaver fur I had on previously) pretty well but I'm curious as to how much my string might be slowing down..You will be shooting clouds of lint your first few arrows after install.

These are in my opinion the best string silencers on the market. Well made easy to install and work great. Ive used them during practice and hunting I have not purchased several for my bows and as back ups.

Got this for my husband's bow. He's happy with it and would recommend to others.

These bow string silencers were absolutely fantastic! They made my hybrid longbow almost completely silent and the only noise was from the arrows hitting the target. I absolutely recommend these to anyone that is looking for a pair of quality made bow silencers!

love them. from SNAP to ... nothing. absolutely nothing. i installed them on my horsebow and i couldn't be happier. i think that the trick to these is to fluff out the wool to individual strands. i spent 20 minutes using a fine tooth brush to great effect.

I did exactly as the video instructed and as I shot, more and more of the strings fell out and came loose. I did not cut the middle chord on either yet they still fell apart when firing the bow. They worked very well until the fell apart, silenced the bow perfectly.

Easy to install, and came with instructions, imagine that. Very quiet, will buy again.
