The main function of the ND filter is to avoid overexposure by reducing the amount of incoming light when the light is too bright so that the camera can choose the correct exposure value. It can also “resist” a large number of scattered light, you can improve the color saturation of the picture, so that the picture is more transparent and bright.
The use of a light reducing lens also allows you to use slower shutter speeds to shoot some special effects, such as foggy running water, light trails at night, and so on.
When shooting video under the hot sun, you can reduce the shutter speed through the light reducing lens, so that the video image has the appropriate motion blur, looks more comfortable.
The larger the ND value, the more pronounced the light reduction effect.

ND filters are a must-have for any sort of drone filming. I got recommended that I use ND filters from various drone videos I saw on YouTube. I got these specific ones alongside a DJI Mini 4k for Christmas and could not be happier.These filters help me have a 1/60 shutter speed and low ISO for almost no noise in my photos and videos. It also helps colors to be richer and overall the image quality is so much better.I also like that the ones that tI bought are also PL filters. I hadn't heard of PL filters before it showed that option on the Amazon page, but I really love these being both ND and PL filters. It really helps mitigate the shene and reflections on bodies of water and it looks soooo good!I haven't had any problems with only having four instead of more levels of ND filter. The strongest one (64) is good for sunsets and looking at the sun, 32 is good for bright sunny days, and the other two are good for outdoors, but not when it's too bright. I haven't needed more than 64 or less than 8. It's been good!

Arrived fast and nice selection of NDs. I bought the 4 pack but really only see using the #4 filter.
