My 12 year-old granddaughter got interested in needle felting. I bought her this wool (a large quantity) to keep her busy. After making a bunch of little cats for gifts, she made me an otter (see pic). The wool worked perfectly for needle felting.

Not good for weaving. The bundles are too short and difficult to separate into long strands to use on a loom. Maybe good for felting projects.
