I am happy with this latch mesh! The grid was cut straight without any frayed ends. It is a generous size and each grid is made well enough. The latch hook tool is very light weight which is nice for tired hands or those with arthritis. There is an odor, but I believe over time that will wear off.

I used this to create a led lit flag for a performing troupe so not the traditional use for sure. Works great but you have to be careful for fraying at the edges. Other mats I have used like this were impregnated to hold the threads together. I doubt this is a real worry for its intended purpose of hooking wool to it though.

I couldn't find a cow print latch hook rug anywhere so I made my own! The mesh was perfect size for a rug and as easy as you would think for a latch hook kit only customizable!
