I bought this to tripod mount an iPhone and it was excellent.Putting a phone into the case is extremely simple as there is a small latch you undo and the top folds open. The feel of the latch and the opening top of the case was great.The inside rim of the case is all rubber so your phone is not touching metal, and also adds extra cushion. I dropped the phone twice from face height onto concrete with no damage to the phone - or the case.They also offer a great range of mounting points, along all of the edges. Basically almost as many mounting points as are possible to have.The plate design on the back is also well made and gives you a lot of options for ways to place items in front of the camera lenses.It does add some bulk and weight to the phone, so be ready for that, but I still found my phone pocketable with it on.

I’m pleasantly surprised by a smooth slide of the phone into the cage. It seems quite functional, at least according to the impressions I got during the first test shooting.

Great for filming content; where you’d use minimal aks mounted to it and shoot for minimal time. Biggest benefit is of course all of the mounting points + easily adding filters. Outside of attaching to tripod/gimbal/suction cups or shooting indoors I rarely use it. Would buy again though.

There is no case easier to put on and have the lens locked in place!! I love this case. Only issue? The case doesn’t allow magnetic charging:(

Gave it a 4 stars just because light passes thru the bottom of the ND plate and your image has a light leak on the right side (if shooting Horizontal).

I chose this one over the 2nd gen version as I only ever record horizontal video, never portrait, so I didn’t need the extra feature of removable handles. This is a great cage for the money, fits my 15PM perfectly, and has almost all the functionality I need. I would have liked one more cold shoe mount on the longer sides, and the usb c cable needs careful selecting as straight ones may interfere with the side handle but the cage is too deep for right angled ones. But all in all I’m perfectly happy with it for the price paid and it will make recording stable video a lot easier with places to mount lighting and a microphone.

Passend für mein iPhone 15 Pro. Es sitzt supergenau. Nichts klappert oder drückt, alles passgenau. Auch die Zusatzteile passen genau. Eigentlich sehr gut, aber bei mir gab es beim Filmen leider nur Rauschaufnahmen. Deshalb habe ich es zurückgeschickt.

To use the new iPhones feature of raw video Codecs you need to have an external drive attached this makes it much easier, but you’ll have to add a magnet style attachment to the back compared to the other offerings, the price and quality of this enclosure is so far the best.
