Very happy with this. I wanted a prime lens for an upcoming trip, but the sticker price on the Sony equivalent was too much for me. My biggest concern was the size/length. I didn't want something that would make my Sony A6000 larger. The existing "free product" reviews did not give me enough information, but I have had good experiences with Neewar as a brand so I took a chance. It was totally worth it. Collapsed, this lens is 1cm longer than the stock 16-50mm lens. When the camera is on though, this Neewar lens is about 1.5cm shorter than the stock lens with the barrel extended. I'm not a professional, and have only had the lens for a day, but it is fast and the images are very clear. The time between flipping the camera to the ON position and taking a picture is dramatically decreased compared to the stock lens. No problems with AF, its fast and quiet. I also don't see vignetting or blurring around the edges, even at the largest aperture setting.Overall, its a great lens at a great price.

This lens surprised the heck out of me. Autofocus on my Sony ZV-E10 was great, plenty sharp for using for talking head videos, with enough light, you'll have a great blurred background even at F2.8. The only point I'm taking off is when I tried this lens on a Neewer ETZ adapter for my Nikon Z30, the lens wouldn't focus at all and the motor would constantly make noise. If you're buying this lens, keep in mind that it was designed for native E Mount only. If Neewer releases versions for Nikon Z Mount, Fuji X Mount, and Canon RF Mount, this is a super solid contender, especially if you get that coupon to bring it to $89!

This is a really great lens at a fun focal length for APS-C cameras. The color that comes from this lens as well as the contrast is really good. The 27mm focal length gives you just enough depth to make the photo come alive, and the 2.8 aperture is bright enough for most situations.

Images are nice and sharp for the most part, though a little darker and softer in the corners. Autofocus works pretty well, a bit noisy but decently quick. Solid budget lens for my ZV-E10.

This lens is alright, mid level. Clarity is 8/10, focus is super slow and bad.

The lens feels solid despite its lightweight construction. The plastic exterior might not feel as premium as metal counterparts, but it's sturdy and well put together. The size is especially appealing for those who prefer a compact setup. The autofocus performance is decent, generally quick and accurate in good lighting conditions. It struggles a bit in low light, occasionally hunting before locking onto the subject. It's suitable for everyday photography and casual video recording.Image Quality: The lens produces sharp images in the center, even when wide open at f/2.8. There is noticeable softness towards the edges, especially noticeable in wider apertures. Stopping down improves edge sharpness significantly.Color and Colors are rendered nicely, though not exceptionally vibrant. Contrast is good, providing images with a balanced look straight out of the camera. The lens includes a manual focus ring that is smooth to operate, making manual adjustments pleasant. There’s no aperture ring on the lens itself, so aperture adjustments are made through the camera's controls.

Well this is exciting. If Neewer really dives into the lens industry and starts bringing us more lenses in the same quality that they do everything else every photographer/videographer will be happy. This is a very nice lens - well made, sharp, and connects perfectly to my FX30. Not everyone loves 27mm, but this is phenomenal for the price.

This 27mm lens from Neewer is surprisingly good. I have been testing this on my Sony ZV-E10 aps-c camera and it has performed well for a company that is not specifically known for lenses. At f/2.8, this lens lets in a lot of light and offers great bokeh for video and portraits. I mainly use this lens for video. It focuses very well and accurately. I have noticed in my comparisons with my Sony lenses that this lens is not quite as fast and the focusing motor makes a little more noise than desirable. When I used the internal mics on the camera, it did pick up the focusing motor noises in a fairly quiet room, but when I added a shotgun mic, that noise was not as noticeable. In a not so quiet environment, the focusing motor was not discernible on either mic setup. Great lens for travel and budget users.
