Although it's not perfect, this slider is a great next step for filmmakers looking to make their shots look more alive. It is durable, lightweight, and easy to set up with its legs or on a tri-pod. You do need to get a ball head mount for easier panning and tilting.

I have been wanting one of these for years and I'm so happy with this one. Sure it's manual but to get some supper smooth video, there's no better way than a slider. It well made and a good brand. It comes with a case. Mine didn't include any instructions. I'm assuming that this is a professional-level tool and that I should already know how to use it.It came with a case.I like it very much.

So I have geared up with a dozen new lights and stands from Neweer and this new dolly. It's supposed to have a weighted flywheel, nope, and it got a bad spot where it turns uneven so it makes the video unsteady. this is the third item in 2 months that should not have passed quality control :(

Picked this up and just recently tested it on a product video shoot where I used it to pan smoothly along a row of bottles. It comes mostly assembled. Setup was dead simple and consisted of installing the flywheel, taking less than a minute. The entire unit is very lightweight, the carbon fiber makes a difference here, especially at this size.Motion is smooth and silent, as it should be. There are soft, hard stops at each end. I set it up with a fairly heavy rigged out cinema camera and it didn't bat an eye. The results you get here in terms of smoothness are largely dependent on how smoothly you can spin the wheel by hand. For long movements it helped me to set up a metronome so I could ensure I was spinning at the same speed throughout. The major limitation here is obviously the lack of an automated motor or drive. That makes this unit a much better choice for applications like studio shoots, product videos, etc., where you have either an extra set of hands to operate the slider and/or plenty of time in a controlled environment to do so. For applications like interviews where your attention will be elsewhere (especially for a solo shooter), something motorized would be a better choice.Based on how it's constructed, I'd be surprised if it weren't possible to rig up an external motor to drive it, but that's a future project. My only other quibble is that the attachment screw on the slider head is fixed in place, and is not able to spin or be tightened from below (as on a tripod head, etc). This means that screwing something like a fixed baseplate onto it can be frustrating because it will really only tighten up at a certain angle. In the instructions they suggest using an intermediary mounting device like an adjustable ball-head, but that's not always an ideal solution with weightier setups. Not a dealbreaker, but it's good to be aware that you may need to invest in an extra bit of kit to make this as useful as possible given this fact.I own and use a lot of Neewer gear in my role as a video and content professional, and their stuff is almost always a top-tier experience. This unit is no different, and if you can learn to live with and work around it's minor limitations, it will be a great tool for you.

This 31.5 inch camera slider track from Neewer makes capturing buttery smooth panning footage easier than frying up flapjacks for the crew at daybreak. As an aspiring filmmaker constantly fumbling handheld cellphone shots jerkier than a mechanical bull on hot sauce, having pro-level gear is essential for quality content creating. But glory be - with just one mount of my iPhone onto this sturdy dolly rail, I’m gliding gorgeous Hollywood style tracking shots slick as a freshly Zambonied ice rink! 🎥⛸ï¸That carbon fiber build paired with precision bearings lets me steadily cruise footage left and right with the control of a Swiss watch movement. No more uneven wobbles or shakes plaguing my artistic masterpieces! Just perfect stability whether inching along subtly or rapidly revealing scenes with show-stopping dramatic effect. My production value just shot up.So if all those unstable tracking attempts have you more frustrated than a pig chasing its curly tail, slide on down to Neewer’s cinematic dolly track! Your visual visions will flow smooth as honey.

This is very well made and provides smooth and quiet camera sliding. It comes with a handle that you attach and can turn to move the camera back and forth along the track.I bought the optional Neewer arms to help stabilize this when attached to a tripod. The unit itself comes with adjustable legs that you can use on a flat surface. The only thing I did not like about this is how it is hard to get the camera to stay in place if you are using the slider at an angle. Gravity naturally wants to pull the camera down, and while there is a screw to tighten it in place, I found that it would loosen a bit and start sliding after a while, so either someone has to be near the camera holding the handle in place or you will have to use the slider on a flat surface only if you are by yourself and filming yourself.

Se maneja muy bien, ligero y funcional, incluye mochila de transporte, se puede usar con la manija o si se suelta mas la fricción arrastrar desde el cabezal.

I have electronic version of it, and it great, but this is just so simple and easy ! It depend of what you need ! If you need that ONE shot, this is much better as electronic version, as you have control for exactly the effect you want ! It also have some counterweight and allow it to do some smooth effect. It not for heavy camera. Also is not great for fast movement, as you would have to turn much too quickly to keep anything stable while turning it.

Now that my son has tried this camera slider I will give my opinion on it.The slider has a flywheel as well as crank handle. The product is of the usual Neewer quality, which means it is well made.✅ max load 8kg✅ adjustable legs✅ sturdy and lightweight✅ quiet sliding motion✅ flywheel with crank handle✅ easy to carry✅ made of carbon fibre✅ adjustable conveyor belt tension

This large, high quality carbon fiber slider unit for DSLR or mirrorless cameras from brand NEEWER is a mechanical based slider with no electric parts. Instead, it has a large turn dial, that you simply turn left or right to move the slider back and forth. It is very well made, both durable and light and with plenty of mounting features and some extra accessories like a nice ball tripod head. At 31.5in (80cm) it is a substantial size that can definitely handle larger cameras, but would work with a mobile setup as well, although NEEWER does offer smaller slider options for this purpose. This one is really for a camera and lens combo. The idea of a camera slider is to slowly move a visual from left to right and back again, this effect is called panning and it helps give your clips a cinematic effect. It's a very cool thing and worth ordering a slider for this purpose. If you have a a large camera and lens you want to use for cinema panning footage, this may be basic by comparison to the electronic versions, but it is still very high quality and will definitely do the job. 5 stars for what it is.
