Works as advertised. Only issue I had was connecting it to the app. It did connect but didn’t get past basic operation. Contacted support and we got it fixed

High quality camera slider. Great piece of kit. High quality aluminum with carbon fiber tubes and nice anodized bits. Can't beat at this price. Neewer never ceases to amaze me. I got the 80 cm slider and will likely get the smaller one for hikiging as well. Great for getting cool B roll material. Works well with the phone app, but was unable to get the wireless remote paired up so that was returned.

I bought this slider after spending quite a bit of time shopping around and watching YouTube videos of people “testing†it, and vouching for its smooth operation. However, my experience was that it exhibited a wobble that could not be fixed. It looked as though a tooth on the belt slipped or something similar, which would cause a jerk in the camera movement. (No belt issues after inspection, however.) Could not get around it. To their credit, Neewer was very helpful, tech-support wise. They shipped me out another slider within days. Unfortunately, this replacement model had exactly the same problem, just in a different place. The tech-support folks sent me a video of a possible fix which involved loosening and retightening some of the Allen screws on the camera mount. However, that did no good. Also, I needed to use the slider to shoot parallax for interviews, and soon realized that the parallax bar that is the mechanism on this sort of slider at this price is nowhere near what one needs. You really need a 2 axis slider so that the camera pan can be controlled over the course of the slider movement, not just simply traveling along a rod at an angle. That might be useful for a simple product shot, but not for an interview. Due to the wobble problem, the slider might work OK for timelapse shots, but definitely not for live action video. It was a learning experience, and the one thing that keeps me from being overly frustrated was the good faith response of the tech-support team. Had to return it and am now shopping for a more expensive 2 axis slider. Wish I could afford the 3 grand or more for a really serious slider system (probably a Rhino), but I’ll try one more time to find one that fits my budget.

I bought this slider for multiple purposes. Product filming, to Film B-Roll and to give movement to my B cam at interviews. It works well at everything i need. It also comes with the battery and charger which is helpful.

Hochwertig verarbeitetes Material. Funktioniert so, wie ich es mir gewünscht habe und wie es beschrieben wurde. Ein sehr gutes Preisleitungsverhältnis. Ich habe es seit zwei Wochen im Dauereinsatz, einfach zuverlässig. Einen zweiten Akku dabei zu haben wäre sinnvoll. Allerdings haben die meisten eh' für ihre anderen Geräte den gleichen Akku.

Faccio timelapse per lavoro da anni e sono soddisfattissimo di questo dolly, prima ne usavo uno auto costruito ma era abbastanza pesante. E' quasi un anno che lavoro con questo e l'unica pecca riscontrata è stata la boccola di innesto a jack del cavetto che si collega alla fotocamera, dopo qualche mese non faceva più contatto impedendomi il funzionamento sincronizzato della fotocamera. Ho risolto installando una seconda presa e collegandola all'interno al circuito esistente. Mi rendo conto che non è semplice per tutti ma questa soluzione mi ha permesso di risolvere. Per il resto niente da dire.

I mostly shoot timelapse astrophotography and wanted some motion in my work. This Neewer motorized slider fits the bill and then some. Sturdy and well built, smooth motion and the app makes things easy to set up the motion and the timelapse (controls both the camera and the slider movements). I would suggest getting a 2nd NP-550 battery if you are doing a lot of movement or don't want to stop 4 hours into a timelapse because your battery has run out. Solid buy!
