I shoot a lot of cars which are fundamentally giant mirrors. I need a strong filter to know down all the glare. I've purchased many CPL filters over the years with most of them costing north of $80.00.THIS filter is better in almost every way from those high-end filters for 1/2 to 1/4 of the price.I'll be buying more and highly recommend it if you're looking to remove glare from your images.

Neewer 72mm Polarizing Filter 30 Layer Multi Resistant.NO COLOR CASTING. ONLY 1 stop of light reductions and cuts out polarization perfectly! It is really thin so don’t over tighten. It is very smooth a rotating. The outer threads are 72mm so you can stack other filters on top!

First time using a CPL, and I think this is going to be a game changer for me. I have been doing real estate for 10+ years, and I try to keep costs, and editing time to a minimum but was finding my images to have a grey blue wash, and lacked the color punch I needed. In comes this very affordable solution. For me, the quality is good, but I am not a very technical photographer, and I haven't played with more expensive filters. I can see why taking it off would be hard, but they do make a tool for unscrewing filters off lens, need be. I just used the corner of my nail as leverage. They also make magnetic filters, but I decided to keep things simple for starters.CONS: Vignetting is a real issue. I am using a 15-35 on my R5, and I got super dark corners as you can see. I decided that will return the 82mm, get the 95mm with a step up ring, let's see if that works better. That would be my advice if you don't want to take the extra time to frame wider for a post-crop. This is an extra step I don't want to remember when working under beaming noon sun.

Bought the polarizers for a trip to Antarctica. I really like the look of my photos. No glare and it helped with the brood the snow and ice.

A beautifully made circular polarizer. The inner and outer rings move smoothly and freely with no binding. The polarizing effect is positive and easily seen in the camera viewfinder. Well worth the money and a good value for such a large diameter "filter".

Excellent protection with great polarizing quality also. I never take it off the lense.

This filter is SO THIN I can't even grasp it to get it off my lens. I bought a filter wrench on amazon to remove it. And, this little grips for my fingers to grasp the filer are nearly nil. I liked the price but I think this will be a real pain to use.

I haven't bought a CPL in a while and clearly the technology has changed. My old CPL used to stop down the light as the polarization increased. Not so with this one leaving me to believe it was broken. I took some pictures of my Venus Fly Trap showing the water tray at min and max filtering. Shot on manual, the only difference is the rotation of the filter. Now I have to buy some ND filters since the CPL won't do double duty anymore. My only complaint is that the filter is so thin that it's hard for my sausage fingers to rotate it without getting close to touching the glass and my lens cap has very little to grip.

Funciona muy bien y cumple con lo que ofrece, es muy delgado y funcional, el único detalle es que es muy difÃcil colocar la tapa de la cámara con el filtro

I have a few CPL filters collected over the decades for different cameras. This one is the thinnest and smoothest. Some reviews have said that the threads were not sufficient to hold it on the camera. I have not had that issue. It seems very secure. The polarizing effect is not as strong as some - but it is very effective and is consistent across the lens. No dark blotchy areas. Very nice quality.
