I finally got to use this yesterday by mounting my GoPro onto it and then setting it on either the hood or the roof of my car for a video project that's been in the works for quite a while, gathering historical photos and such and began the production yesterday by shooting in the area.The mount's magnetic base is very strong, but not difficult to remove and the clamp works fantastic. It comes with the 4/20 standard screw mount for most cameras and the GoPro mount on a quick release plate, one for each. The base has 2 magnetic plates covered in a non marring material so safe on paint. Many of the higher end mounts often have 3.This is not my first product from Neewer. I have 2 others, one a mic arm for my JL Labs VO mic and the Neewer Neutral Density/polarizer filters for the GoPro and they all are well made. The mic arm clamps solidly to the desk, as some inexpensive arms have poor clamps and the Neewer optics for the ND filters are good and are well made and the frames are metal.They all perform well. The only thing is I notice a slight shake when idling and is noticed in the reflection of the blank back screen when the camera is on the car hood but holds well when driving and the resulting footage is really good.This is due to the car being a 4 cylinder car with the AC on. Otherwise it did wonderfully.It appears well made, the clamp is very effective and overall a well designed product.

I use this for travel baseball, and before this mount, I used to carry a wire fence mount, a wire fence clip, a tripod and a small tripod to mount on top of the dugout as a last resort. After 30 games, this is the ONLY mount I have used this year. There is always a metal pole, fence or structure to mount the camera (Mevo). I have sent the link to this mount to at least 10 people from other teams.

I don't normally write alot of reviews. I'm Always torn with Amazon products not knowing if they are going to be junk or not. This has to be one of the most surprised products I have ever gotten. I'm a ametuer GoPro user so I'm limited in the GoPro world and accessories. I needed a Magnetic base to film time lapse video for construction. The entire body is aluminum, they have rubber strips on the adjustable ball sockets to hold the position better. (I would guess being on aluminum you may not want to position much while it's tight, to save damage to the rubber, since it's pressing into the aluminum body) Magnets are really strong and can't wait to use them for car videos in the future. This was money well spent.

I had this mount stuck in the roof of my car. It was holding my insta360 x4. I was moving MAYBE 10mph and it tumbled right off my car. Destroyed the camera. $500 camera is junk now. Thanks!!!!!

This magnetic action camera mount is strong enough to mount a GoPro or similar-sized cameras to vehicles and stand still even at relatively high speeds. I wouldn't try and mount it to any flying vehicle though. Also, even when mounted to a car, truck, or boat, I would still use a safety chain/cable, just in case.The construction is very solid and basically all metal and some rubbery parts in order not to slip over the fixing surfaces. It comes with a metallic GoPro mount and also a small plate with a standard 1/4 screw that you can use to fix other types of equipment such as microphones, light fixtures, and other cameras.Its use goes far beyond moving vehicles and it can be used to fix a great variety of tools to hard spots or in situations where a traditional light stand is not viable or convenient.This is definitely a great addition to any GoPro Kit and a must-have for any grip and camera department as well.

The magnets are strong with a rubber covering so as to not scratch the surface they are mounted on. They hold tight without being so strong it is impossible to get off. I think you would need stay under there limit so the magnets don't slip but other than that they seem to hold Strong.The camp is awesome, I can really ratchet it down and make sure it stays in place, just wish the other camps I have were made like this one.

Good holder and good range of adjustability.I replaced the stock magnetic mounts with larger ones, for shooting at higher vehicle speeds or in windy conditions. The stock ones were adequate too, but I wanted additional piece of mind, so I upgraded with some leftover light bar magnets.Overall 4/5 because I wish it came with usable tether; I had to get one on my own.

Parfait tester des réceptions la caméra n'a pas du tout lâché mis en place avec une petite caméra simple ainsi qu'un stabilisateur supplémentaire rien à bouger c'est parfait je recommande

Really strong magnetic mount, i've tested this to 75mph, didn't move, however, i didn't really buy it to attach to a car, more so to mount on metal posts etc.
