Your a poor streamer getting started but you have a nice $1000 dollar Sony camera? This does what you need and keeps your camera constantly on for your chat to make fun of you. Your camera will now not turn off and your chat will love seeing your face for next 5 hours of streaming . I'm clearly not a streamer, but this power supply adapter and dummy battery works and it hasn't failed me yet.

On getting this, I left it plugged in to charge for a couple hours, and then swapped out my battery in my R7. There's a neat rubber notch in the battery compartment for the power cable to snake though, allowing you to still close the battery door which is great.I plugged it in, and powered up the camera, and it worked just as you would expect it to.I've been recording hours of video with it since, with no problems. No overheating or any other unpleasant surprises.Great product from NEEWER.

Bought this so that our Nikon DSLR could run for a couple hours recording video during an event and not need to worry about the batteries going dead. Works exactly as designed.After using it as needed I also played with plugging the barrel jack into a USB C to barrel jack adapter and running the camera off a large USB power source and that worked too. You could probably combine a decent USB battery bank with it to have constant power even when AC power isn't always available if you're using a Nikon camera as some sort of live stream system.Very impressed, very simple but functional piece of kit.

Last Dummy battery "Bricked" my old camera. This has been working perfectly for 5 Plus months on my ZV-E10 M2.

This battery allows me to keep my regular camera running as a webcam during Teams and Zoom meetings. It can also be used for lengthy time-lapse sessions without running out of standard battery capacity. The price is so much better than the Canon brand and works exactly the same.

Tenia dudas que me fuera llegar algo que no me sirviera o incluso que me descompusiera mi cámara 📸 PERO… ¡¡WOW!! Funcionó perfecto en mi Nikon D3200 y Nikon D5300. La D5300 le actualice el firmeware para poder usarla como WebCAM y no se apague después de los 30min. TenÃan miedo que si hacÃa eso me calentara la cámara y pues si después de una hora sin apagar se calentó🌡ï¸. La puse donde pega el aire del Minisplit â„ï¸ y nooo se calento para nada!! 🙌🽠La use en 3 streams aprox. de 5 horas y casi no se calentó ðŸ‘🾠Recomiendo usarla en un lugar donde haga frio â„ï¸ ya que si se puede calentar mucho la cámara afectando el sensor o 🔥 🫢

Solo lo he probado un par de veces y si me a funcionado bien, lo compre para solucionar que mi Sony a6000 se calentaba y solo grababa vÃdeo 20 min por qué las baterÃas se calientan, yo creo que es porque las baterÃas ya tienen más de 3 años, con esta falsa baterÃa ya no se calienta y la a6000 graba los 30min que es la limitación de la cámara.
