I have a ring light from another company that recently stopped working due to a faulty power adapter. While everything was replaced under warranty without any issues, getting a working replacement took a few weeks and I was left without a working light in the meantime. It’s unfortunate, but it happens! I decided that buying a spare power adapter, as a backup would be a good idea to prevent possible future down time if anything like this happens again. However, the company that I purchased my ring light from doesn’t sell the power adapters individually here on Amazon. So, I decided to see if I could find a comparable one and eventually came across this power adapter from Neewer. The main specs - AC 100-240v @ 50/60hz input, DC 15v output - matched. The only difference in specs are that this one has a higher maximum amperage (5A vs 4A), which isn’t a problem, since the device will only draw the amount of power it needs. Anything below 4A wouldn’t have supplied enough power, but 4A (same as mine) or above and I was golden. The only thing I wasn’t entirely certain of was the connector, but in the photo it looked identical to the one on the replacement adapter I just received, so I took a chance on this one from Neewer and bought it. And, I’m glad that I did!After receiving this power adapter yesterday, I was happy to discover that it plugs into my ring light perfectly (you push in and twist, in exactly the same way) and it works great! I imagine that it should work with other brands of ring lights with the same power requirements and connector. I’m happy to now have a spare, should I need it in the future. It also makes it easier for me to take my ring light on location, since I can just store it in the bag and leave the one I already have in my studio right where it is. That’s exactly what I needed! I bought this for my daughter’s light ring, her old cord attachment broke. She needed the light ring for her tailoring class. She plugged it in, and BOOM!!! Let there be light! Lol, it worked great!

I have an 18" Neewer ring light that's almost 6-7 yrs old but it still works. Recently I noticed the adapter getting really hot even when its on only for like couple minutes. I thought I have to dispose the whole thing and buy a new one. But I found this replacement adapter for just $37 and it worked like a charm.

The cord is long enough lol. Ive bought cheaper cords and they are short and makes noise but this is perfect

My original Odroid HC4 power supply died prematurely and I was looking for a replacement.The selection of 15V over 3A available on the market is pretty thin (if you want something UL certified). This one works perfectly for this and feels like good quality. Only time will tell if it'l last but I feel confident.I also like that the plug is not built into the brick itself. Much easier to fit in a power strip.

Perfect for what I needed it for.Fit into my old ringlight I was super excited when it fit, so I took out the upper part and attached to my ringlight.
