The wireless remote and the battery grip I ordered both came with short shutter control cables that when plugged into the camera, they both were extremely tight due to short length and felt like they were putting a lot of stress on the ports of the camera and the receiver/grip. I found this coiled cable and ordered it and am very pleased with it. Both the grip and wireless control work perfectly with it and the extra length means I no longer need to worry about the safety of the ports being damaged from stress.

I bought this to replace a shutter cable for the battery grip for my Nikon D5600 camera. The one that came with it had a right angled connector that went into the camera and while packing up my camera to leave I bent the connector and the vertical shutter release didnt work any longer. After research I found that I needed this cable. Upon plugging it into the camera and trying to use the vertical shutter release it did not work. I had this item ready to return and thought Id give it one last go. After a little effort the connector slid into the port a bit further than before and it worked. This cable is intended to be used as a shutter release cable that connect from the camera to a flash. In this case Im using it to go from a battery grip to the camera. They will work for either as I checked it with a remote controlled Flash Module. After tripping the remote, It fired a flash that I had set up in Slave mode. Great cable just wish they'd make one with the right angle connector.

I failed to tighten the head screw on my tripod, causing the camera to tip in such a manner that the original cord from remote shutter release to my camera body caught on the tripod and ripped the connector wires out of the connector. Impossible to fix. This replacement worked perfectly!

The Neewer cable for remote transmitters and camera devices is fine for most replacement aspects. However, there is a potential for damage or bending from the straight cord section on the interface end of the cable. There is a right angle end, which is good for the remote transmitter part, but the other end needs a right angle plug end too, to be effective. I damaged my original cable at the interface end, and had to order this item which was available (fortunately) from Amazon.

I purchased this cable for an used timer remote controller I found on eBay dirt cheap. (It was YouPro YP-880, but Neewer NW-880 or other similar looking generic remotes are all the same.) It was supposed to be for SONY cameras, but I know the only difference is the cable, so I ordered it for my Nikon D3300, and it works perfectly.

The cord came in wrapped up in such a nice package and came in quickly, I actually though they over did it for the item being shipped. My Yongnuo RF-603N II Wireless Remote Flash Trigger N3 stopped working for some reason. After an intense analyst of why this was happening, I was convinced that I it was the original cord supplied by Yongnuo. My fault why the cord stopped working, not Yongnuo's. I have a Nikon Z 6ii, and now it all works again after using this cord. So I'm thinking that even though not listed in the comparability list, it does work with the Nikon Z series... it does on my Z 6ii anyways. The Yongnuo's trigger also does not list the Z series has comparable, and been using it for 4 years on my Z 6ii , and I know this one was identical connection, so I was already convinced that it was the same connection, and I was right.

Bought as a replacement for a MIOPS cable I ruined when I was photographing a lightning storm and a developing tornado made us stuff things back in the car at a fast rate of knots without much care of disconnecting the cable first.Anyway a brilliant replacement for a MIOPS Smart + and the Nikon D5300. And at a great price too. Bought 2, one as a backup.Brilliant service and quick delivery.
