NEEWER Super Clamp with Cold Shoe & 1/4 Inch 3/8 Inch Holes seemed to be good quality, but when I went to attach the camera shoe, I discovered the 1/4 inch tapped hole was a blind hole and quite short, since the metal in that spot wasn't very thick. I had to use several washers to take up the space, which left me with not as much direct area of contact with the clamp as I would have liked. After fumbling with it a bit, I think (as a product designer) that I would have laid it out a bit differently, but at the same time, I'm not trying to consider all the other ways people use it. So it'll work better than my previous clamp, but it could be improved.

I ended up just buying a second one of these. I have the first one set up on the fairing of my motorcycle to use as a mount for my Insta360. I run it as sort of a dash cam and my other mount was very loose. This clamps down good and going over bumps at speed it holds in place. I did by some 1/4 x20 allen head screws to go in this. I threw some loctite in it so the bolt won't come out and it's held up great!.

Very sturdy for a clamp of this size. Well made, I appreciate the rubber inside the jaws to protect the surface of what you are clamping them too.

The clamp is well made. You can mount to a camera, tripod or cold shoe for a flash.

I needed a sturdy clamp for attaching a mic assembly to a car steering wheel (settle down: the car wasn't being driven!). This clamp is small overall, has a wide clamping area, is well made, has a grippy rubber layer on the clamping surfaces, and has lots of attachment points. Works perfectly!I can see lots of uses for unique camera/mic/lights rigging for this clamp. Excellent piece of kit.Neewer stuff can be hit-and-miss, but this clamp is as well made as anything out there.
