Reading off a screen isn't for everyone, but if you do want to be able to read off a screen while looking right at the camera then this is for you! The build quality is really nice and I'm sure this will last for some time. The size is large enough to allow for a fairly big font. Great for those of us with older eyes. This works really well. I have had no issues with it. Seems a little pricey, but I don't know of any other product that works as well at this price point.This one is an easy 5 out of 5 stars!

Overall, this is an excellent product that performs exactly as advertised. It is easy to set up and the accompanying app works well too. The teleprompter was a bit larger than I was expecting. It is maybe not the most travel-friendly option, but for home use or if you are not worried about traveling light, this is a very good teleprompter that comes with the added benefit of being able to put your script on a tablet sized screed for easier reading. I've come to expect quality products at a budget price from Neewer and this teleprompter is no exception.

Yeah, this is impressive (though I am no expert on teleprompters)! I feel like this was a value as the build quality is excellent and it works with all my accessories, including my camera cage (not included).Keep in mind: I’m using an iPad Pro and an iPhone 15 Pro Max, so I might be a bit lighter duty, but it’s making it so much easier to create engaging content, particularly as I think about longer form videos.The apps function on my devices and the remote is a huge plus. I’m so used to needed another computer-device to control an accessory, but this remote solves that problem. I really have nothing to complain about here: it’s awesome!As much as I admit I’m an amateur, I feel like a pro thanks to this! Hope this helps!

I have been consistently impressed and pleased with NEEWER's products and this teleprompter is no exception. The carrying case is aesthetically pleasing and is well made to protect and store the teleprompter in. The teleprompter is easy to set up and connect our Sony camera to. The remote integrates with the android/iOS app for playback, text speed, etc... The app was easy to install on our android devices and using it was very straightforward. You can upload your transcript as a text file or type it in using the onscreen keyboard.The teleprompter was effective, and the screen was easy to read. I personally found it made being on video more comfortable for me as I couldn't actually see the camera when I was reading from the prompter which helped me to be more natural. Also, with the camera being behind the teleprompter it allows for a more natural and consistent eye contact with the camera. The teleprompter appears to be well made as I would expect from NEEWER.

Very nice prompter. The metal is heavier than I expected and nicely built. It assembles very quickly and no issues getting the camera centered in the glass. It comes in a nice lightweight hard shell case which should do pretty well to protect it from minor transportation issues. I am a NEEWER fan, and while they dont make the top of the line in any of their products, they are all good performers, work as promised and come in at a great price.For me, I upgraded from a 7" plastic prompter to this 14" and couldnt be happier. Such a very nice product and its less than $200. Wow!

the smaller prompters require you to use a longer focal length, and position the tripod further back, and you run into issues with reading along. they make teles that go up to 17, but at 14 this one is a good sweet spot. The glass is very clear, and doesn't bleed through even in various lighting conditions. The wide screen allows you to read from far away, using long and short focal lengths. There's a sweet spot you can get to where you won't notice your eyes tracking. The case is thin, but adequate i'd say. Everything packs up tight, and sets up fast. It's built really well.

The Neewer teleprompter is a fantastic tool for smooth and professional presentations. Setup was quick, and the glass provides clear, easy-to-read text without affecting video quality. Works perfectly with my tablet and DSLR. A must-have for YouTubers and presenters. Highly recommended!

Creating energetic content while looking into the camera lens can be difficult and this teleprompter does levels up my film making. The X14 III model is heavy duty being machined using aluminum base plate with pairs of 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads underside for rigging onto tripods. Quick release plate is also double threaded balancing weight of either DSLR or full cinematography rig with heavier lenses. Its softer velvet fabric gently loops around creating darkroom seal to minimize glare and reflections including lens element itself behind glass. Camera mount is flexible, lifting about 2.5" in height on metal rod, shifting closer to glass 8", and snaps using push lever and screw to tighten down quick release plate.Front glass is quite reflective yet simultaneously allows nearly 1/2 to 2/3 exposure of light reduction pass through into lenses behind. Its a clever system relying on slide out mechanism to hold tablets or portable monitors for reflecting off scripts. Glass rotates around 25 degrees from flat to angled downwards optimizing crispness on the larger surface area. Setting up took merely couple minutes to zip across edges creating a geometric dome structure and getting me filming engaging scenes quicker by focusing into the lens behind. Yet this teleprompter system folds up flat into hard suitcase to lug around this heavier piece of studio gear while traveling.
