I mainly use this for driving wedges when felling trees. It has held up great, a previous inexpensive dead blow I found locally always felt like it was going to break, which made sense once it broke while driving the 2nd wedge on a 3 wedge tree. ~Sigh~The Nieko worked well for me all fall, I'm not demanding super heavy daily use out of it, but I'm very happy with it for the price.

I had a old Stanley dead blow that was falling apart and replaced it with this. Material is good quality and has a good grip. Nice feeling hammer and love the bright color. Good comparison to a Stanley. Happy with the purchase

If you need to have a mallet - make it fun! Works great, nice to have something that isn't so heavy. Tools for women in mind are fantastic!

In our spare time, we try to salvage lumber from unwanted furniture as best we can. I bought this 2-pound dead blow hammer to replace an old wooden-handled rubber mallet that had busted. I really wish I'd done it sooner. I appreciate the grip and solid construction, but the little plastic caps had me worried when they popped off because I thought I'd broken something so quickly. The head is not too heavy, and doesn't leave marks on surfaces like our old rubber mallet.

Dimension et poids juste comme il faut. Permet de planter les piquets de tente même dans un champs de caillous. A condition que les piquets soient assez résistants et ne plient pas, bien sûr. Au niveau stockage, on peut le mettre dans une armoire dans un van sans crainte de dégradations lors du voyage.

Workmates all have the snap-on deadblow hammers but I couldn't justify the price. Will definitely buy more of these .
