Your cart is empty.The Neiko Tools Vinyl Face Sanding Pad is a vinyl backup pad for pressure sensitive adhesive discs (sticky back) that are flexible, but firm. It is for use with a variety of discs for feathering, scratch removal, paint stripping and paint prep. The smooth vinyl surface provides enhanced adhesion, paper comes off without tearing. These backing discs fit all 6-inch DA / orbital sanders with 5/16-inch 24 TPI threading. Rated for power sanders operating at 10,000 RPM

I bought this sanding pad to renew the one that fell apart on an air orbital palm sander my husband has had for abut 30 years. I figured out the threading (5/16 x 24) and bought this one. It's a great piece, with the only issue being that the vinyl surface has some kind of silicone-like coating on it so the sticky-back sanding discs wouldn't stick to it. I tried cleaning it with alcohol, but that didn't work. After using xylene and a cloth on it, the sanding discs would finally stick to it. It's made of a good foam material as it has some give, yet it is firm enough to keep the sanding surface relatively flat. Overall, a good product.
