Feels weird reviewing a plunger but I had to tell you that this is a really good one. I have 2 now in both bathrooms. I originally got 1 as a spare for the second bathroom. Welp the fancy one from Target did not work well and just became completely useless. So now I have 2 of these, one for each bathroom. We have the water-efficient toilets that clog SO EASILY. (You know those ones) So, we have to use these plungers often despite of our best efforts to avoid it.I think I got the first one at least a couple years ago. Just cleared my toilet beautifully, so it’s still working well!I would definitely recommend these and purchase them again.

My husband, and isn't it almost always the husband, consistently blocks up the toilet. Normally it would take up to six or more hours of plunging every twenty minutes or so to remove the clog. The last time it happened was after hours and the plumber charged over two hundred dollars for the service call. This was a bad clog because eight hours of plunging and swearing did nothing to unclog it. Swearing actually doesn't help but it nearly always makes me feel better. I had read reviews of this plunger and didn't think anything could work that well, but I ordered it for next day delivery, and am I glad I did. The plumber did nothing to help the ongoing problem. It was clogged up again the next morning, which really enraged me! Two hundred bucks and it still wasn't working properly. As soon as the plunger arrived I ripped open the box and tried it out. I didn't have to put as much strength on it as before, and in less than a couple minutes, the clog was gone. It actually was less than a minute. This is a really great plunger, and I have never said that about any plunger before, but after years of my husband clogging the toilet, I had reached my level of thinking all plungers were the same, or useless. I just thought only hours of muscle strain and swearing were the answer. Not so. If someone in your house passes bricks daily and uses half a roll or more of toilet paper, do yourself a favor and buy this plunger. It really works, and with very little effort on your part. You may never swear again, but you can if you want to. I just wish I had bought this before I had to spend two hundred bucks. This is better than whoever the plumber was. He committed highway robbery and didn't do what he was paid to. This cost a lot less than the plumber, took almost no time and effort, and no colorful words from me. I bought an auger on the same order, and I haven't needed to use it yet. I have fewer clogs and I am not plunging every day like I used to. My husband appreciates the fact that I am no longer bellowing at him. Well not about the toilet anyway!

This is the best plunger I have ever used. I literally went to a local store and bought a plunger because the old red one we had had cracked and didn't work anymore. I tried to plunge the toilet and I couldn't even make that new plunger work at all. I searched around Amazon, found this plunger and ordered it. I can hardly believe how good it works. I mean literally if I was in the plunger business I would be ashamed of making such an inferior plunger as the one I bought locally.We have had this a few months now and I still love it. I went and read some of the negative reviews to see what anyone could possibly complain about. To address a couple things - the weight and the pliability of the rubber. First, yes it is lightweight, and I would kind of think that might make it inferior as well, but it really does not - it seems to work great. I think there is a higher quality of rubber used so it just doesn't have to be as heavy. The handle is also lighter as it is a hollow metal. Initially that also seems negative to me, but after using it, I actually like it. It has a loop on the end as well so could possibly be hung up.Second thing I saw negative reviews about was the thickness of the rubber or the resistance when you push on it. Yes it is much easier to plunge with and, again, I thought this would be a negative - doesn't seem as industrial or something. After using it though it almost always takes about 1-3 plunges to clear a clog. My old plunger was like 5-10 and so annoying. The softer rubber makes a better seal and makes it seem easy actually. I was on the verge of buying a new toilet.Highly recommended - I think I am going to buy another one.

Addendum on 2-9-13:While this is my all time favorite plunger it has one significant drawback. The top of the handle is NOT designed for serious plunging. In the last two days I have had the opportunity (don't you just love equivocations?) to put it through the biggest test yet: a completely sealed commode that even a closet auger did not relieve. In fact, the auger bent when it was NOT supposed to bend. After many significant attempts to open the clog, I finally managed to get it to work. The palm of my hand is red and close to raw, all thanks to the top of the Neiko. I finally got smart and began to use a folded wash cloth to finish the job. I plan to get one of my old tennis balls, split it about 2" and try that instead of the wash cloth. We'll see.I hung my bubble gum colored 20-year-old plunger in the garage to use for plunging the garage floor and sink drains. I did not want to sentence it to the landfill; however, that might be its best place. In its place is the Neiko Superpower Plunger. No, it does not have a powerful motor to engage the contents of the toilet but it develops sufficient suction to relieve the toughest clog. Unlike bubble gum it does it with so much vigor the need to redo is almost nonexistent. It's a one-plunge plunger of the first order. Couple the perfect size cup with an aluminum handle and it is a pair to behold. I know there is little to say about a plunger but this one works so well, it deserves more than "it works well" and it really does. No regrets whatsoever. Even the price is O.K.Without equivocation I would buy this again in a nanosecond.

bought it mainly for sinks, do it once a week and you won't have these problems anymore. Clogged drains make water penetrate the nearby walls and floor and paint starts to peel off too. If you keep them unclogged, just by using a plunger once a week on your sinks and restroom, you are all good. Too pricey though.

Es un poco extraño poner un review de un destapacaños, pero este vale la pena.A pesar de que sà es más caro que los que venden en las tiendas, la realidad es que vale la pena, en primer lugar por la calidad de la goma (que no es dura como una piedra o demasiado aguada que se voltee).En segundo lugar, el cono que tiene en la parte inferior hace que sea simple hacer vacÃo y por tanto succión. El WC tapado en cuestión que hizo que comprara la bomba tiene el hueco de forma rectangular y con ninguna otra bomba conseguimos destaparlo.Lo comprarÃa de nuevo, vamos...
