Easy and Quick Installation Cabinet Face Frames
Step 1. Clamp on
Clamp the two face frames together.
Step 2. Alignment
Tighten the positioning plate to align the two face frames.
Step 3. Pre-drilling
Through the drilling guide for pre-drilling hole with a drill bit Φ1/8" or Φ3/16".
Step 4. Screwed-in
Remove the drill guide and screw into the frame to secure it.

I've placed/hung cabinets without the use of a tool like these, but you run the risk of damage with regular clamps. The padded surfaces protect the cabinet finish. These clamps are great for aligning cabinets and providing the moveable drill guide to get your screws set before removal. You definitely want to use two on typical cabinets. I was very please with how easy and quick I could align and secure adjacent cabinets. If I had one complaint, more of a nuisance, is that the clamp jaws are reverse thread. The face alignment plate is normal, but not the jaws clamp. I could not think of a reason they would be made this way.

Clamps seemed reasonably well made.Minimum width is too large for the multiple cabinets I had on hand, from both RTAstore.com, Home Depot, and Ikea. Completely unworkable when your cabinet face is smaller than minimum dimension. You will need fairly large cabinet faces to use these.Also the pilot hole sizing is... odd. Pilot holes are too small and too large to be a good fit for common pilot drill sizes with normal #8 screws.

Don't waste your money. Idea was good however. Tried using them to flush fit the fronts of new kitchen cabinets. Went into the kitchen trash bin within ten minutes, then grabbed my Jorgensen clamps and got the job done. Just a lot of fiddling around and never getting to where you want things to be. They do not self align the fronts like you think they would. They are quite a bit less effective at getting the job done as a single clamp you probably already have.

I got these as a gift for my husband who is a general contractor. He has used them several times now and brags after each use. They are ease to use. Alignment is right the first time. He has had no problem with them slipping. They tighten down well without bending or bowing. Our daughter who is following in her father’s footsteps even compliments them on their performance.

My review is for the black pair, it added my review for all models.The orange more expensive one worked fine.Get the more expensive versionBoth of these broke black ones fairly quicklyNot a good valueDon’t be tempted…. buy the more expensive version
