Bought these pants for rain riding in Patagonia on the motorcycle tour. They fit just fine and kept the rain out for the day that it rained hard on us. Would they hold up over time? Not sure but in a pinch, if you need an emergency pair of rain pants, these were a great purchase. Especially if you have ANY doubts regarding the claims that your expensive Gortex pants will hold up.

Quality product. Watched numerous youtube reviews before purchasing. Works as advertised. Kept me 100% dry in hours of cold rain on motorcycle trip over numerous days. I wear and purchased the XLarge size. Waist 36â€, length was ok, would have preferred a longer 36†inseam. Would buy again.

The Nelson-Rigg web site says that the small Solo Storm rain pants have a waistline that stretches from 23" to 43". This is not true. I got the small and the waistline was maxed at 34". i wrote to Nelson-Rigg and told them about this because the pants that arrived didn't fit over my jeans with a 33" waistline. They would never fit over my riding pants. The customer service rep then pulled samples from their inventory and did measurements on a small, a medium, and a large. He found that the maximum sizes were four and five inches smaller than their size chart. He even took photos to show me what he found. Whether this information will cause them to make their Chinese manufacturer change anything or whether they will update the size chart is unknown to me.I ordered the small because it had the closest inseam to fit me. The seller, Motomentum sent the package for a fee and it arrived on time as expected. I have no other information about that seller to tell. The Nelson-Rigg customer service rep agreed to send a large Solo Storm Pant to me priority mail. He is sending a package with a prepaid shipping label so that I can return the other to them. My only concern is that the large will have a much higher inseam. Perhaps with the Velcro closure at the bottom of the pants, it can be made to fit tightly and not allow the bottom cuff to drag the ground.I have not used them in rain yet. I will update this after they arrive. It rains often. I'll test them soon.

Less than a week before leaving on a 2 week motorbike trip, I discovered my old rain pants would not fit over the boots I planned on wearing. Cue Amazon to the rescue. A couple of hours spent searching online, not only Amazon but other sites as well.Nelson Rigg Solo Storm Rain Pants were the finalists. They arrived and yup, they fit over my adventure boots. It did rain during the trip. I did put them on roadside. They did keep me dry.I did have to take off my boots to get the pants on. That’s a big negative, but they were effective at keeping me dry and they weren’t too hot 🥵 so that’s a positive. And the price is right.

These look to be good rain pants I haven't used them yet but they fit great I got them to go over my overpants that I ride in everyday I did go bigger then what I actually wear so they would go over and they have adjustment straps on each side of the pants so if you need to fine tune them you can.

These rain pants are fantastic for bigger guys. At 6ft 4in with a 38in waist and a 34in inseam, finding rain pants that fit properly on a bike are hard to come by. After finally wearing through my last pair, I decided to try another brand since I was always dissatisfied with the inseam length not always staying over my boots. Based off other reviews, I followed the sizing chart and went with the XXL to allow for bulkier gear underneath.I bought these a few days ago and have already ridden through heavy rain with them and extremely satisfied! The waistline and leg cuff adjustments are both bulky glove friendly and easily adjustable with all your gear on. The extra-long inseam is helpful for keeping your boots covered in a seated position, something that's hard to come by in good motorcycle rain gear. The butt pad really provides a noticeable difference in seat traction compared to those that don't have this feature.I only have one complaint about them. They breathe extremely well, so unfortunately you feel all the wind!
