These seals aren’t meant to be sold Toyota doesn’t even show them in their diagrams. I was skeptical with them being off brand and I’ve never had luck with non-oe seals. Well, this seal has 10k on it now and I just had the covers off to do coil packs and not a drop of oil! Make sure you massage the seal with gloves and clean oil and install with everything clean and dry except the seal.

Always replace this seal before you install the intake VVTI gear. I didn’t and had to tear the timing belt back off. This product saved me. Comes with 2 still have an extra one for future jobs. Stretch the seal in your hands before you reassemble the gear and it’ll fit great (This is the recommended install instructions). Pictured is what my gear looked like before replacement. Thanks for a great product!

Did everything right step by step with torque wrench and it failed on first round. Good thing there was 2! Use electric drill fast when installing to avoid it getting pinched uneven
