So I needed to buy shims and mass bulk and be able to stain them. I did not use them for the traditional manner so this review is not for someone that's needing them for with they're actually made ports for someone that thinks out of the size of the box and decides to do something else with them. Lowe's is the only major home improvement place in my town and price comparison these were just a little bit cheaper if you don't mind waiting a little bit shipping was a little bit slow. I made a shim wall in my dining room I also did a accent shimmer and one of the bathrooms and then I also did shim sides on a custom vent-a-hood for my kitchen. I love these they didn't break very easy but they are easy enough to cut with a sharp box blade. They also stained really well and weren't splintered or anything like that for the most part.

The consistency in length/width/ thickness and taper , made a difficult roof line much easier. this took a minute to get done and i had to order more as my estimation was half of what i needed. excellent product! thank you

I have been using various wood shims for 30 years and these are by far the worst wood shims ever to be produced by man.
