1: The wrong item (a different adapter) came at first but that was corrected painlessly in hours!!!2: I unplugged my dryer and plugged in the charger that came with my new NIssan Ariya. The charger says "30 amps" but has the 40 amp, 4-prong NEMA plug. (That is why I bought this adapter, duh.)But after charging for a few minutes, it tripped the breakers on my 30 amp dryer circuit.I felt despair.On a whim, I went to Home Depot and bought new 30 amp Siemens breakers.That did it. Works great now. 100% charged!

This adapter was the perfect companion for my family trip to the Georgia mountains. The cabin we stayed at only had the dryer outlet as possible L2 charging option, and this was the perfect way to charge at night and enjoy driving around without any concerns. Make sure you limit Amps to 80% of circuit breaker (In our case 24Amps, given the dryer breaker was 30Amps max)

Does what it is meant to do and have not had a problem yet. I do not have to charge every night but I don't forsee having a problem with that if I did need to do so.

Works well for using a Tesla slow charger at home. This adapter can plug into your home 220 watt plug, while the Tesla male plug, plugs into the female side of the adapter. Make sure it's rated UL or EL depending where you live. I bought a Y adapter from Amazon too so I don't have to keep plugging and unplugging the charger. Dryer or charger cannot be used simultaneously or it will trip the fuse box. I saved 100s of dollars vs. having an electrician come and install a 220 watt plug.

I used it to change the plug type so it’d find my Ford Charger. Worked great.

I like that this allowed me to connect my generator to my dryer outlet. Exactly what I needed.
