Heavy cast iron. Areas that fit with other parts are nicely finished. Non-contact areas are rough. Includes size 12 block sized mount for a ball screw. Has two oil seals and sleeves. Bearings are sealed deep groove sized 6001. Bearings are easily removable if you want to replace and use 7001 bearings. Fitted into a linear motion ball screw application and its square and parallel where it needs to be. Great deal.

I was excited to be able to replace my old motor mount with a simpler solid mount that connects to the ballscrew on my CNC. First issue I ran into was the threads were not tapped all the way through. This was not too difficult to fix and I could have used 16mm screws instead of 20 and may have been ok. Next you need to account for the distance between the Stepper motor and the ballscrew shaft. I had a 40mm length coupler that was a little short. A 45mm coupler will make a better connection, but also has a larger diameter that will just barely fit. If the distance was 3-5mm shorter between the ballscrew shaft and stepper shaft then I would have given an extra star.

Used for DIY CNC. Arrived very well packed. Fit the NEMA23 stepper motor perfectly. I recommend this component to anyone building a DIY CNC.
