I was so glad I finally came across this adapter. I was looking researching. I spent over a week trying to find something through home depot office Depot it was it was rough, i needed this adapter, so I can utilize my generator to power my welder, on on-site jobs, I like that It's actually short, less power breakage down due to long cords. It's simple - easy lock on. That's exactly what it's supposed to do, and it's heavy duty.

If your out in the field and need to make an urgent weld or trouble shoot a 3 prong powered 220v piece of equipment, get this adapter if you have a 4 prong 30 amp 220v generator. Perfect adapter when you are in a jam.
