Really nice collar. Because my dog is a Frenchie, I had to have something that didn't go over the snout. This collar works great to keep him from pulling. He can't slip out of it and, best of all, it fits well and is comfortable for him to wear.

This collar does what it is supposed to do. Like so many other non-leather collars I have tried for my dog, it just feels flimsy and looks cheap. I do like the bright colors. There are other collars out there in the same nylon type material that look substantial and have a better quality look about them., but they're not martingale. I don't know if this collar would work on larger dogs. Too flimsy. It works on my Australian Shepherd, but is really just "ho hum" in looks and feel.I don't think I would ever use a leather collar on my dog, too stiff. They just can't be comfortable. Less give. When dogs curl up to sleep I imagine a thick leather collar doesn't give and just digs in. I would never use a chain collar. The martingale type collar works well. My dog doesn't pull or gag, she walks nicely with no resistance. Good deal. I just don't like the cheap look.

We got this for our GSD/Cattle dog mix that loved to turn around and pull backwards out of his collar to go explore the neighborhood.This collar doesn’t allow him to wiggle out! I love the padding also. A great collar for a great price! He has the size medium and is 80lbs with a slender build.

Bought three of these after seeing one on a friend’s dog. I paid more for one that my smaller dog ( and I) hated. The other one was stiff as board. These are soft and flexible but sturdy. It was also in a 3/4†width, ideal for my smaller dog. Bought 2 for the smaller dog. The large is an inch in width and more than sturdy enough for my large dog that already has a collar I like. Just may buy him another color since there are many good colors to choose from. Dont take any after dark walks but it is nicely reflective if you do.

Stiff and larger than expected. One dog pulls out of collar pretty quick when she gets excited or rough housing. Seems well made. Hopefully softens soon but not wear out quickly. Price was good at time of purchase.
