It works just fine; I gave it 5 stars for comfort and softness because I've never tried any other brands; there may be something more comfortable out there, but for a nascent student this helped me control my clarinet a great deal while I learned to fumble for the keys. Once I got more used to the instrument I found that I needed to use it a lot less often.

Thumb rest tab fit right on the thumb rest no problem and with the Neotech clarinet strap my thumb is no longer tired after playing for extended periods. I wish this product had been around when I started playing clarinet. And the price is affordable too.

The thumb rest tab would not fit over the thumb rest on my Buffet E11. It is a rubber piece. I tried to make work by softening it in very hot water. This worked to get the clip on my neck strap through the hole but I tried and tried but couldn't make it work even after I trimmed the slot a little wider with a pocket knife.

I really like the Neotech neckstrap system. I can leave the extras attached to my instruments & just unhook & switch quickly mid-gig.

The rubber is very hard making it difficult to use. I put it in hot water as suggested but it still is hard to use.

Works very well and arrived very quickly too. One star off because the part of the tab that touches the thumbrest feels kinda funny, I guess I’ll have to get used to it...
