I have a cat that needs to lose weight and eat slower, so I started using another food dispensing ball for her meals. She seemed to enjoy it, but that ball couldn't be taken apart to clean. I was afraid if I put water in it, it would never fully dry. This ball is a bit heavier than I expected, but that probably means it's more durable. My cat figured it out right away. I like that it's easy to open and fill. I have not really tried washing it yet, but so far the food dust isn't building up inside the way it did on the last toy. I can fit at least 1/4 cup food (1 meal) in it, and I can adjust it to keep the food from falling out too fast. Her kibble is close to the size and shape of a Cheerio, and it fits through the opening easily.

Not sure if it is the toy or the treats I stuff in it but my cats love to play with this item.

This ball is great for cats that like search for their food. It is also a great enrichment iteam if you have a high energy cat.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I should have returned it. The treats just fall out of the ball. The animal doesn't have to put any effort. Really cheap as well. Fell apart really easy. Don't waste your money.

Our dog loves this ball. Keep her busy for a little while. However she was able to break the first one by getting the side lid off. She enjoyed all the treats at once. After that she chewed the colorful grip for a while which made the inside unusable. We ordered another one. She did the same thing to the 2nd one so we ended gluing the side lid so she didn't get all the treats at once. She is still happy with it, but I'm not sure how long it'll last.

I have this dispenser in a bigger size. It is amazing, works great, and my 3 dogs LOVE IT!! The one I have is probably 6†in diameter. I wanted to get 2 more (since I have 3 dogs). Sadly these are way too tiny ( about the size of a tennis ball ) and the treats won’t come out so they just got frustrated by them. Unfortunately I will be returning them both. I hope they make the large size available again. I will definitely buy it if they do.

cat loves to play with it. only thing is that the cap isn’t super secure
