These candles work great in the neironim glass cups. Another reviewer mentioned that you can use the leftover metal wick holder and flip it over to fill the gap at the bottom of the glass cup so the next candle’s wick doesn’t sink down. Once I did that, the candles burn great. Highly recommend for the quality and price.

This is the second time I've purchased these candles from this seller and I have been very satisfied with them both times. Other sellers have substituted a different brand that has not performed as well. Ner Zion or Palace (same product) is, in my opinion, superior to other brands I've tried, partly because its shape is a little fatter and shorter which seems to burn better than the taller and thinner versions.Even so, I see some complaints here that these candles go out before burning down. I did have that problem originally as well, but I believe it's more due to the construction of the glass holders than a problem with the candles themselves. Some of the glass holders have too deep a well in the bottom and as a result the wick drops down once it starts burning and is smothered. I've completely solved that problem by simply keeping a few sets of the metal rings that hold the wick in rather than throwing them out and placing one upside down in each glass holder before inserting a new candle. That stops the wick from dropping and the candle burns all the way down. If you're having this problem, try it!

About one out of six of these candles self-extinguish. They look OK when they are lit but within a couple of minutes the flame burns quickly down the wick and the wax does not melt properly so the flame goes out. There is no wick left so the candle cannnot be re-lit and must be discarded. This is a high proportion of defective candles so I gave the brand one star. I have used other brands for years that did not have this problem.The candles that do not self-extinguish have a weak flame until they are burning for several minutes. After that they burn and last well.

this batch wasn't so good, the candles are harder to light, and they don't all stay lit until they burn down to the bottom

The good....these arrived without damage. No cracked or partially melted candles.The bad...these are somewhat smaller than other shabbat votives I have purchase and burn slightly less time.Overall, price, delivery, and quality good.

Beautiful with the candles shinning from within on Shabbos.😊 Also, Very reasonable.........🤔 On ,third thought..... These "Neronim" aren't very reasonable after all. About 1/3 of them didn't stay lit for more than 1 or 2 minutes. Some of that 1/3 burnt a little longer; approximently 30 or 45 minutes. Perhaps this was just a manufacturing fluke that was supposed to be rejected, however it is quite disappointing to have my Shabbos candles go out, when, relighting isn't an option. This is one of the reasons I use "Neronim"candles in the first place. Sad but true.
