I cooked a 14–16-pound turkey following the instructions from the recipe in the book. I did preheat it, and I stuffed the turkey with celery, apple and onion. It was supposed to be done in four hours, but it was done in three hours. It did come out evenly cooked and tasted great. Don't forget to check with thermometer. It was wonderful to be able to keep the oven free for other things. Happy Holidays!

I bought this to make large batches of homemade dog food and it’s great.We did cook a Turkey in it and it was great.I just made 15 lbs of turkey based dog food last night and it cooked so well. I cooked on 275* for 6 hours and when I opened the lid, I was so happy to see the final product, perfect!I usually use an Instant Pot but this made a huge batch, meat and veggies cooked perfectly and cleanup was a breeze.It is BIG, so make sure to measure your work space.Good purchase, I recommend.
