Wifi Booster Simple 4-step Setup:

Our extender should be placed 500 inches away from the router to better extend the network reception range. Please note that the purpose of the network extender is to extend the network reception range, not to increase the network speed

1、Q: Mobile phone settings or computer settings?
A: Mobile phone or computer can be set. Recommend cell phone setting, more convenient and fast.
2. Q: Can't find the wifi name of the repeater?
A：Press and hold the RESET button for 5 seconds on the side of the repeater using the card pin included in the box, then open the airplane mode on your phone and then close it, and search the network again.
3. Q: Why didn't it jump to the repeater setting page?
A: First, make sure the cell phone (or computer) is connected to the "wifi-XXX" WIFI, if it is not automatically jumped to the settings page, manually enter 192.168.11.1 to enter the settings.
4. Q: Why is there still no network for the repeater after the setup is completed?
A: Check whether the WIFI password set by the repeater is the same as the WIFI password of the superior router, this must be consistent.

The instructions weren’t perfect so I had to reset it since one part didn’t work as detailed, but once setup, it works well.

This diviCe was purchased to have better intwrnet connection for one of my bedrooms and a security camara outside. The outsude camara is abput 5 feet away from the bedroom.The bedroom TV is getting better internet ,but not 100% and the outside camara still has no connection.I purchased the same devised with another namebrand and both of my issyes went away the moment it was connected.

This extender doesn't seem to extend very much - but YMMV.If your current main router (referred to in the instructions as 'host') has a password with special characters then this extender will not connect.There is a reset button that you can press with a paperclip. It seem that the device must be plugged in for the reset to actually do anything.

I had issues with my unsecure network stretching to the back of my house and the pool deck below my apartment. My smart TVs, Ring doorbell and Echo Spot run on that network as well as guests. It took a little sleight of hand to make them do exactly what I wanted, but my background in IT made setup a breeze. Due to it being made in locations that I wouldn't want to have a back door into my secure network, I would not advise using them on a network one does financial on. But for boosting my signal for music on the pool deck and my bedroom smart tv, I don't care. They may be more difficult for the less knowledgable and the installation guide isn't overly intuitive which is why I have it 4 stars.

I get good speed on my home office laptop connected to router Wi-Fi (~80/20mpbs), but other devices have trouble connecting and staying connected. I thought the extender would improve laptop speed while making other devices connect better.Unfortunately, speedtests showed ~20-30 mbps up/3-8 down with various placements, including line of sight with router. Connecting extender to laptop with ethernet increased speed compared to extender without ethernet, but it was still at most 25% of the normal speed without the extender.Further, having to select an alternate connection is a pain. Even if the two produced comparable speeds, I wouldn't want to have to test which signal is strongest every time I connected a new device or moved from one location to another.

Not the easiest thing that I have ever set up, took me three tries, but I got it working and it is definitely pushing my wifi throughout my house. I was worried because I read about it not accepting passwords with special characters, and my router has a hypen in the pw but it worked. I would have given it five stars except for unclear directions.

This is exactly what I needed. I’d been having issues with the internet signal to one of my tvs, I had been unable to stream without constant interruptions or use my laptop in that area of the house. Setup was super easy, I didn’t need to physically connect to the router which I was worried about, it was as simple as plugging it into the wall and following the ten simple steps and it was good to go and solved every issue I’d been having! I’m so happy! I still can’t believe this was all it took to solve my issue. Wish I had purchased this months ago!!
