At first neither myself nor the Xfinity tech could get this thing connected to the internet so it was declared defective and to contact Amazon or Netgear about it. Turns out it just needed to sit there and marinade in the network sauce for about another hour as it randomly began working and has been for days now like a champ with no issues.

I purchased this as refurbished excellent condition, but it's not excellent, it came without any instructions or documentation, scratched, signs of some use.Setting up was not ease specially without any instructions. It's working good after a few hours of failing attempts to setup and get internet, and a few calls to my ISP. I think it's overpriced device due the condition of this device

I had been pricing this cable modem for a few weeks and couldn't bring myself to pay full price at almost $400. This renewed option was like new, out of the box. Setup with Xfinity was seamless and now I can enjoy faster internet speeds at a much more reasonable price.

Would have been great if it worked. I disconnected my old Netgear modem and hooked this one up. It was on, but my ISP was unable to get it to work/connect after several attempts and they deemed it "defective". Returned.

Just started using modem Router combo and so far I am impressed and I like the Netgear armor for protection.
