These organizers fit embroidery thread brands like Robison Anton that have a large bottom to the spool. They are clear so you can see all your thread and be able to find a specific color quickly. I use one box for each color group. They stay securely closed so you could bring them to a sewing retreat, however, they are made of a hard plastic that may crack if you accidentally dropped them. Also, they were very carefully packed with soft Styrofoam all around to prevent any breakage during shipping. These are the same thread organizers they use to sell at Joann's. I have purchased them from Joann's website in the past and they have arrived cracked and broken because they were not packaged properly. I am so glad I found them on Amazon so I can keep adding to my embroidery thread collection.

This set of two boxes is exactly what I needed to store spools of 1000m Isacord embroidery thread. They’re well-made, transparent, and the lids close securely as expected. Will definitely order more as my thread inventory expands.

These boxes are great for organizing thread by project, and the lids clip shut securely so spools don't go rolling all over the place. They stack nicely; there are little nubs on the bottom that fit in divots on the lid so they don't slide. They don't attach to each other, but that's a plus to me. The plastic is crystal clear so you can see everything inside perfectly.

I love the size and the functionality of these thread boxes. My only wish is that they were of the softer plastic like their four tier stackable storage boxes. These hard plastic boxes seem like they could easily crack or break. We’ll see how long they last.

Got these to match a few others that I already had. But different brand. These were perfect. I am able to put my embroidery thread spools with no issues at all. I have the Glide thread spools. Love it.I would certainly recommend these! The stack great. Easy to see my thread and what I have.

I had too many loose spools of thread that were currently upside down in other bins. I decided to reorganize my embroidery thread and I ordered 2 packs of these (so I had 4 more than I started with.). Now, there is no need to pull the upside down threads out to look at the colors. I also used a chalk marker on the outside so that I could quickly see where specific threads could be found, such as variegated. It works better for me now!
