I used this product to cover a subwoofer enclosure, and it worked perfectly. It's a very thin carpet like what you would find lining the inside of a trunk, but it works well for covering speaker enclosures.

I bought this “carpet†to cover a custom subwoofer box in my 2007 Yukon. First of all it is not even close to the color in the picture. You can’t even say that it is a couple shades off. It is completely the wrong color. Secondly it is not carpet in the normal sense. This is more of a fabric than carpet. When you place it on a surface you can almost see right through it and it is not soft at all. I would not recommend this “carpet†to anyone no matter what you plan on using it for.

I ended up not using for intended purpose but defiantly a quality product perfect for speaker boxes and boats no knap to speak of but glues tight and looks good

Used this carpet to wrap my sub box with super 77 spray adhesive, and it turned out great!

The merchant describes this product as carpet, and the picture appears to be carpet. What they sent was 1/8" felt. Completely unsuitable for use as carpet.

I worked in the 12volt audio industry for years building speaker enclosures and doing custom installs. First off this IS NOT CARPET! It is trunk liner. That means it has no "pile or loop" it is about 1/8 thick and more like felt. If you are trying to cover a speaker enclosure that you want to blend into the vehicle it works as it is designed. It is not the sort of thing that can take any wear and tear. SO if you are building something that you will be taking in and out of your car, you may want to find an actual carpet. It works fine for my purpose and it will conform to mild contours etc.

Buyer beware, this is NOT carpet. It is TAN I will give it that, but this is a roll of light grade FELT, by no means even the caliber of the cheapest of auto carpets. I will be returning.
