I love this collar for our dogs. We got rose gold and silver for our pups! I love that its adjustable and metal! Our dogs chewed the fabric collars and I became worried they would lose their IDs if they lost their collars. This is a great alternative. I don't recommen using this to attach a leash to. This collar is best suited for keeping your dog's ID tags on so they don't get lost. Easy to fit and you can loop the remaining chain back on the hook as well if you want. Clip is not strong enough to hold for leash. You potentially could set it as a choke collar but I do not recommend doing that. Using a harness is much better for stopping pulling and training.

This item was a necessity for my oldest beagle dog. The other beagle dog was a wild little puppy who liked to chew the collar of her roomie. I replaced the chew one a time or two, but the puppy dog kept finding ways to chew through the collar of our older dog. This is how we ended up with this item. We've had it for a good amount of time now, and I have not had any issues with the puppy chewing through! Sometimes, our older dog likes to be a bit stubborn or a bit of a Houdini, and this collar helps to prevent her from slipping out. The only complaint is that the rose gold version I purchased did turn her white fur a little. I suppose this is the doggie equivalent of a cheap ring turning your finger green! Alas, all's well that ends well.

My two ding dongs have worn these for about 2 years because they chew off the fabric collars.

This collar is listed as stainless steel however it is my understanding that stainless steel shouldn't discolor the area touching my dogs neck. This chain discolored my digs neck that I was worried the metal could be dangerous to her health so I removed it. Two weeks after purchasing I am making this review. Do not recommend.

My dog scratches less with this collar. I wish it were adjustable like the links could remove so he wouldn't have the extra length hang. Also discolor his fur a little but other than that he's been great with it for the last several months.

Exactly what we expected. Very durable chain, not cheap. Thick enough and can tighten to very much any setting as needed.
