Got tired of replacing the plastic/brass combo inlets on our camper. These look like they will hold up very well. The plastic just can not hold up to the sun and a little use. These may fool me, but they seem to have a much better start than what I have been using. To me, the extra expense is worth it if they last. So yes, I replaced them all with these.

The first thing you feel is the weight. Definitely steel, and looks to be high quality stainless with a good amount of nickel in it. The cap is also stainless and thick, the one way check valve works as it should no leaks from back pressure when not in use. It's easy to install with the 1/2 NPT male threaded fitting I was able to thread into a female 1/2 T onto my pipeline. No leaks with 4 wraps or Teflon tape. These look to outlast the plastic ones by many years hopefully. The swivels function as they should, allowing you to thread a 3/4 garden hose male end into it. Overall it's a good value for the quality steel you get. Weighs almost a pound. Wish I bought some of these when I was doing a RV build instead of the plastic ones I installed previously .

This is what I needed to get water into my hunting cabin. It’s solidly built and functions as designed. I would recommend to anyone.
