This wire is usable for pianos where it gets tensioned, but not too good for anything that requires a straight piece of wire of this diameter.

I bought this to use as spring making material and it works great for that and repairing broken springs

For 3 dollars more you can get 100x as much from any other vender. Learn from my mistake and buy your wire somewhere else. I was buying to manufacture springs, not replace a piano wire. So if you need music wire for projects like most of us searching for it, don’t get ripped off by this vender
