I got this for fast food napkins that I get that I don’t use. It looks much nicer than just having them in a pile and they hold a lot of napkins.

They are not as substantial as I would prefer, but they function properly and are the correct size for the napkins. The chrome plating is good and the packaging they were delivered in was adequate.

The 1950's Retro napkin dispenser Diner style. I suppose someone else may view it as something else, However, the important thing is that different people will probably buy it for their personal reasons. In my case, my family had one just like it (only in a retro- orange color) given to us as a gift. We love it for it's ability to hold the napkins in place and dispense, one at a time. No struggling to keep the other napkins in place like an open holder etc. etc. If I'm not mistaken this holder comes in a variety of colors to fit decor. Now for the (negative) part. It is (almost) impossible to buy (quality) napkins in (smaller) quantities (that fit this dispenser). At the same time (maybe) softer/thicker napkins may not dispense very easily from this dispenser, I don't know? My opinion is the same as what I see other reviewer's saying about the quality of napkins that will fit this dispenser. The consensus seems to be--This is the best offered, we will have to settle for less than expected in napkin quality & refill quality and appreciate it for neatness.

I thought this would great to have on the kitchen table but it is to hard to pull the napkins out and the dispenser holds the napkins so tight around the edges that it rips the napkin every time. :( No matter how full or low it is. I have put it away and have tons of the napkins that fit it. I just lay them in a stack on the table, its much easier that way.
