  • The operation is to first enter the door opening password, and then press the "Y" and "C" keys simultaneously to cancel the password (without twisting the handle during this process).

  • The first step is to cancel the password (as described in question one). Step two, set a new password. Press and hold the "Y" key, enter the new password "C+other numbers or letters", release the "Y" key, pull down the handle, complete settings.

  • There is a screw at the bottom of the square hole in the lock panel. Loosen the screw, remove it, adjust the handle to the appropriate direction, and tighten the screw. It's done.

  • The reason may be that the two panels of the lock are asymmetric, or that the two panels of the lock are not on the same horizontal plane as the center of the lock tongue. You can refer to the video "Handling of tongue locking issues".

Bought the lock thinking that some of the lower review's, were possibly over dramatized. They were not. The product is suppose to be adaptable and easy for different door thickness, this I assure it is not the case. They want you too cut screws to size but don’t even send the proper screws to cut per the instruction manual. Absolutely a waste of money.

So this took a bit of time to install. Mostly just fidgeting with different size screws and different size parts that came with the lock. I was installing on an iron gate, replacing the deadbolt and handle with just this unit. It was big enough to cover both openings, and once tightened down with the correct parts that were included, it works like a charm. The buttons are a little hard to press but you get used to it, it feels very solid. It’s very heavy. Very well built. Overall I didn’t find anything close to this with double-sided keypad anywhere on the Internet for less than several hundred dollars so I’m really happy overall!

I liked what I got at first, but within a month two handles fell off or what have you. They are screwed on from the inside and this shouldn’t happen. I am trying to get new locks sent but not sure how this is going to end!!?

I purchased this lock after a friend recommended it (they have 2). He came to install it and it only worked a couple of times before breaking. I have since had another friend and a locksmith look at it and tell me its defective. Because I took the time to get it fixed I am past the return window. I'm disappointed in Amazon and Soobool.
