This was purchased for the size of the tube. It is a perfect size for protecting a Bullet Space Pen so I would quit loosing them out of my pocket. It has been used keep a marker in a first aid kit. I made covers for files small. It it will fit in it this tubing will protect it. I had a belt that wore out the strap material. I plan to use the buckle to make a belt I can wear over my jackets for early and late walks. With Velcro I will make some ankle reflectors. I am enjoying finding uses. I haven’t tested the tensile strength. It seems it should be strong strap.

Holds up well. I use for protective coverings on certain dive gear (bungee straps, fin springs, etc.). Ends seal well, easy to find in a crowd.

I made my own teathers for adaptive skiing. Double Bar tacks to make perminate loops. They wrap and unwrap on my wrists smoothly.

While it looks like flat nylon strapping at first sight, this is indeed the open tubular version for climbing.
