I just used this when I SRS at 80 ft canopy anchor of a Beech tree I want to take down. It made it easy to retrieve before I cut the top of the tree. The overhand knot went through the large ring and pull from the small ring. Before this DOAR friction saver, the friction with the rope and bark of the tree made it hard to retrieve my canopy anchor. At times I have to climb back up just to retrieved my stucked rope.

Good quality materials although the price was higher than the other brand I had purchased in the past. That one would tend to twist, making installation harder. This is not a problem the NewDoar Friction Saver.
