It's simply so useful and less permanent. I ran out already of some colors. It comes off easy if you try to remove it. I ran out of yellow first, which I used to highlight funny moments. It happened within a week too, because I binged some books and highlighted them. It does come with a lot of tape too. I bought matching sticky notes so finding the pages with highlighter (tape) would be easier to find. It's really a good way to keep notes for your (fiction) books and school work organized. (Since I ran out of some colors, some parts aren't highlighted or are highlighted in different colors, but in a way that I can understand.)

I use these to avoid damaging books that I need to highlight but do not want to alter with an actual highlighter or underlining anything.

These are amazing and I have written many research papers using these to highlight important notes in books, I just have to keep a pair of scissors handy for cutting them and that can get difficult, especially with smaller books they don’t start closed on their own.

Perfect for temporary highlighting in a library book or borrowed book from friends or family. This tape leaves no residue at all and is super easy to peel off when needed. Also it rips surprisingly easily without stretching.

I really wanted to like this product - bought it twice in case the first bunch were lemons. Overall usage is easy and works well (transparent, stays on page), but you just never know when you have a roll that doesn't tear easily. When they tear easily they're perfect and I'd recommend over and over...but sofar it seems at least half don't and when they don't tear easily they also don't stay on the page because they become crumpled. I've thrown out entire rolls in frustration. Now that I'm using another roll that's not easily torn I'm using, annoyingly, scissors. I think I'll stick with highlighter strips I first found at barnes and noble.

I’ve bought similar tape from other sellers. I won’t buy this one again. I keep my tapes in a pouch and use them for my books, but the end of them unroll and get dirty and then lose all their sticky. And I tear it off, roll it up and it happens again. I’m throwing away more than I’m actually using. Feels like a waste.

These are great for temporary highlighting! Great for text books or library books that you don’t want to make permanent marks In.
