I initially loved the Newhai 4 in 1 Commercial Vegetable Chopper. It’s multifunctional, with automatic dicing and slicing capabilities that worked wonderfully. This machine handled everything from onions to sweet potatoes with ease, making meal prep significantly faster and more efficient.However, my excitement turned to disappointment when the chopper broke after about a month of use. The blade cut into the top piece, which is also metal, causing damage. It appears that the spring between the blade and the twist cap got wedged into the hole where the blade screws in, rendering the machine unusable. This was quite frustrating, especially since the machine had performed so well up to that point.Another downside is the difficulty in cleaning. The part where the food pieces fall through the hole is attached to the body and cannot be detached. This makes it cumbersome to clean thoroughly, and food particles can get stuck, requiring extra effort to ensure it’s hygienic for the next use.Despite these issues, I'm sending the broken chopper in for a replacement. I’m hopeful that my unit was just a dud and that the replacement will perform as well as the first one did initially, without the mechanical failure. When it worked, it was fantastic, and I really want to give it another chance. If the replacement proves to be durable, this chopper could still be a valuable addition to any kitchen.

Not practical for commercial use, very difficult and time consuming to change the blades, the diced vegetables produced not at all uniform, basically useless, not recommended, could not return since the return widow was closed. waste of time and money.

This will finally chop your vegetables in no time flat. I use this to chop tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions. It did a great job with all three. The only problem is that even with the larger chopping blade. The cubes were very small. That’s not a problem for most things, but I have a son with the texture issue who will not eat diced vegetables in salads that are that small, think pico de gallo size. For most people it is not an issue. With the two different size plungers you can fit vegetables and fruits of all sizes to chop. The one downside of this unit is that cleaning is not all that easy. There may be an easier process that I have not figured out, but since the vegetable pieces get stuck in the unit itself, and it is not submersible in water, it was difficult to get all of the pieces clean. The blades themselves are removable, but the hopper and the parts of the machine were harder to clean. Because of this, I would only pull this out for large amounts of chopping, not every day use.

Used for shredding cabbage and carrots for coleslaw, sliced potatoes for french fries, diced potatoes for potato salad and sliced cucumbers for salad bar. Not even the harder veggies like carrots slowed it down. The blades are all super sharp. After use cleanup was quick and easy. The only caution that I saw for cleaning was to keep water out of the interlock switch. It would have been nice to have added a rubber plug to insert in the switch housing while cleaning. I found one of suitable size in my junk drawer that fit snugly. This made cleaning a breeze. Since the on/off switch is protected from water all I had to do was use the sprayer for my sink to quickly clean everything without fear of water infiltration causing damage. The rest of the parts can be immersed for cleaning. It made quick work for every thing tried.

I really wanted to love this equipment and need it. It is easy to operate, but hazardous us to clean. I used it to chop sweet potatoes and it did a great job until it didn’t. It appears to need an adjustment to prevent a layer of the potato that is too thin for the pusher to push it through the cutter, but too thick to manually push through with the cleaning tool. I cut my finger badly trying to remove the stuck layer of potato. I am packing it up to return.

Good:-Offers large volume chopping.-Works well and seems durable.-Variety of attachments.Bad:-The sharp blades offer great performance, but I would prefer cut resistant gloves for safety.-Lacks a storage container for the attachments.I ordered the Newhai 4 in 1 Commercial Vegetable Chopper. I like the convenience and variety of attachments. The heavy duty build and user friendly design add to its functionality. I like that we can quickly cut various types of vegetables for bulk usage. The power button is placed on the side, which is easily visible and accessible. Overall, this is great product for prepping weekly meal plans.
