Works extremely well. Used with a plug in transformer to power video doorbell from SimpliSafe that required a mechanical doorbell. Only attached to front door.

Does the job perfectly and fixed the issue that I had with the transformer that went out in my old chime. The connection process for this chime and my current wires was simple and instructions were easy to follow.

Maybe I read the Ad wrong, but I did not receive what I thought I was ordering. Because I have a Ring doorbell, I wanted a doorbell with12 Volt 30VA transformer. But when it arrived it was a 16Volt. I hope it does not burn out my Ring. I almost sent it back but after installation, it seems to work OK. At first, it did not, but it was because of corrosion on the wires. I rechecked everything and found it. So I decieded to keep it. Sure hope I didn't make a mistake.

The unit arrived broken. One of the rubber pieces that holds the lower chime was broken so it hangs down and the striker doesn’t hit it. The whole unit is simple Chinese plastic POS but all the ones I’ve seen are exactly the same so I’m looking for a better ringer alternative.On the bright side I needed the transformer so the whole kit was cheap.Two stars for the transformer unless it doesn’t work at which point I will revise.
