Wanted to replace an older 4 burner grill with something smaller, but not too portable. Didn't want a stainless grill (too hard to maintain and are flimsy thin), and really wanted cast iron grates. This is a well cast and finished aluminum. The grates are indeed a good cast iron. The whole design of this grill is well thought out and manufactured. Took about 15 minutes to put together, and, because of its shape it would have gone quicker with a second set of hands. I seasoned the grates with a high smoke point oil in the oven.The pizio ignighter worked first time and every time. I put a 5 foot hose on for a 20 lbs tank. Works great....Just finished my first rib eye steak and am very very pleased. I let it warm up for 10 minutes and got a beautiful sear (and didn't stick). Left the lid open for steak, and it did not lose heat. The burner tube's layout, the flame shield, and the shape of the fire bowl heats the cooking surface more evenly than I could have hoped for.Definitely a great value for My money.Update: Submitted some photos. I failed to mention how nice the grease trap is. It's powder coated and super sweet to clean. I kept the stand from my old 4 burner grill, and trimmed out and mounted an old sink 'blank' for a nice cart.... I am proud...

I love the size and durability of this barbeque pit. I am usually just cooking for myself but this is large enough to could for others as well. I was easy to put together and has held up really well. I have it hooked to the smaller propane tank but it could be easily be converted to a larger tank and hose. Although this is definately portable, I keep it at home to cook for myself. I am building a deck and will definately put this on the deck to cook with. Very pleased!!!

We love barbeque and wanted a smaller portable barbeque grill to take camping.The grill to griddle feature sold me. Griddle for eggs breakfast in the morning and then covert to grill for barbeque later. Griddle stores under the grill when not in use or when traveling.It arrived on time and was easy to assemble.It has worked perfectly right out of the box.It puts out plenty of heat.It is on the heavy side at 29lbs. But the quality is there and should last a long time.I would have liked for it to have "flame tamers" to even out the heat and protect the burners from drips and spills etc.I'm glad I made this purchase.

Excellent customer service, had a broken handle, called customer service and had a new handle in a week. They were very helpful in getting the right parts and registered my warranty. The grill itself is very well made and cooks as it should. I seasoned the cast iron grate and the grill is easy to clean. I would recommend this grill to anyone.

Bought this to replace a similar product from Cuisinart that was several years old and has always had problems with the plastic knobs stripping and falling off the valve stem controls. This one seems to be well made. I had a bit of trouble closing the lid while using a pizza stone, due to the flange at the back edge of the hood. Fixable by trimming the flange a bit. So not a big deal, but be mindful that the bottom opening of the hood is not the same as the surface area of the grill.

Bought this expecting will be made in aluminum as the old Nexgrill, but is just iron which last nothing and can buy in store for quarter the price.

I don’t leave many reviews for no reason, and amazon definitely deserves better than that. But this product is amazing and ticks every box for me, lightweight stainless steel easy to use and cooks the food absolutely perfect.
