Crazy the IRS changed the forms this year so most of my reportable vendors are now on 1099-NEC. The office supply stores in our area sold out as for sure the bookkeepers did read what they need for 2020. Thanks Amazon for having this in stock so I could report timely.

The website description is incorrect. These are 1099-NEC forms to be used for subcontractors in 2023 you can't use 1099-MISC forms in place of 1099-NEC. They need to correct their descriptions. I used them anyways because I needed both type of forms. BUT BEWARE I had to reorder the 1099-MISC forms because these aren't them.

Just finished everything and realized the X mark in section 6 of the 1096 form, notating which form type is being submitted, is in the wrong box. If I moved it way over to the correct box, the text in the boxes above would be off the page. The 1099 also did not line up properly and I have text overlapping with the pre-printed text, even though I did the alignment test pages several times. The information from QuickBooks is too spread out and you can't align everything nicely into the different sections as advertised.
