I used this spark plug for my Toro Snowblower in a Chicago winter and it started like a champ! With over 40" of snow this winter, my Toro has started each time with no problems. I would highly recommend this spark plug! You never know how good something is until you really need it, and I really needed my snowblower to start this winter.

I recently discovered I needed a new spark plug in my 13-year-old Toro CCR 2450 GTS 38515 single-stage snowblower. While I switched out plugs in the past, I was using a plug a buddy of mine had on hand that, although it worked in a pinch, was not designed for my snowblower and finally died after years of filing the center electrode and re-gapping the plug. After researching online quite a bit about the best plug to buy, most paths led me to NGK's BPMR4A. For me, the average DIY'er (and not a plug enthusiast or mechanic who has inclinations toward one plug over another), either a plug works or it doesn't. The proof is always in the pull of the string.After a quick re-gap to .032 inches (per the manual), this one worked for me right out of the gatel. The build seems good, overall. Threads were exactly what I needed for my snowblower, corrugations seem sturdy enough, the hexagon has a solid feel to it, the gasket was well executed, the terminal nut seems sound, and the center electrode seems like it's made of a decent material. While I can't speak to the guts of the plug, NGK has a good reputation there. So, I took a chance before receiving the plugs and ordered two. I'm glad I did. While I will file down the center electrode to clean it and re-gap it annually to get much longer life out of it (yes, I'm cheap), I'm happy with the purchase and am secure knowing I have a backup if needed.Recommended Purchase?: Based on everything I've seen and experienced with this plug, I have no reservations recommending the purchase. This plug will definitely spark new life into your engine and, as such, deserves a solid four star (which is a great rating in my book).

Bought this spark plug to use in a Toro snow blower. It would start during the first snow storm of this season. Replace the old spark plug with this and it started up immediately -- easily. Saved a hundred or two in not having to take it in to a dealer for service. They'd probably do what took me 5 minutes and charge me for some fabricated issue. I'll get another so I don't have to wait for shipping next season.

It's a spark plug, it works or it doesn't. I replace mine in the snow blower every year. Works great.

This is my backup plug, I purchased one previously and has been doing very well with all the abuse the old 2-stroke is giving it.
