TL;DR: this seems to be a very good design at an amazing price. High voltage DC power supplies are somewhat rare and usually expensive. Hopefully these will last for years, but at this price they already far exceed expectations.Purchased two of the NICE-POWER 120V 3A model, and they are working great. Cranking out significant power (loaded to >2 amps at 120VDC each) for 30 minutes at a time, the units become slightly warm to the touch and the fans are inaudible (in a somewhat noisy lab). This efficiency isn't a total surprise since it is a switching power supply. There have been no issues with switching EMI affecting other devices (radiated emissions not tested). The output voltage noise is barely measurable (on an Agilent DMM, not wideband) even when heavily loaded -- impressive. The voltage setting (set and then not touched) is very consistent: no need for any fine tuning from day to day or cool-to-warm. The meters (voltage, current, power) aren't perfect but they agree "close enough" with the high-accuracy Agilent meters and certainly are convenient. Like similar power supplies, downward adjustment of voltage is slow unless a load is connected to discharge the output capacitors.Possible improvements, and these are minor: (1) The "fine" voltage adjustment seems to be a percentage adjustment: it does almost nothing when coarse is set near zero, but it has a +10V range when coarse is set to 110V (still possible to tweak 0.1V increments). (2) The USB charging port 5V 2A seem unnecessary on this specialized test equipment (who needs it?), and its front panel space could be replaced by a new switch to turn off the output voltage while allowing the cool-down fans and displays continue to operate -- that would allow (downward) adjustment of voltage without needing to first disconnect the load under test. (3) Documentation could be better, such as how to re-calibrate the built-in meters (assuming they will drift in future years).

Received the item and it was defective. Contacted Amazon and had another one in 3 days. It works great and is very easy to use. Hooked to my fluke meter and it is .001 off. Couldn’t ask for a better power supply. Have been using it for a while now and it is one of the best I have ever had. Ordering the 120v next.

Someone else mentioned theirs seemed to be stuck in constant current mode but upon reading the included instructions it states that the power supply will automatically switch between cc and cv mode depending on the load, for instance charging a lipo battery you want it to terminate at around 4.2v, you can do this easy by setting the voltage and desired current then it will automatically ramp down the current until the battery reaches 4.2v on its own without any current input.Directions are pretty simple and I only used it to charge a drill battery at low current which worked well

Tops out at 29.90 volts and 10.1 Amps did not keep a load on it though only have for 1 day so far so good. Voltages on power supply are .03 lower that my meter. Thats pretty good. Adjustment knobs have a good feel not loose or flimsy.Very light weight and sensitive on dials but manageable with a light patient touch. Be sure to read instructions if you have not had a current limiting voltage power supply before. I gave this a 3 star because it is subjective to who you are and what you want for the price and needs. If you use these a lot may want a memory preset supply for the extra money. Testing jack fit really good and plenty length, good clips and general quality.

It's nice and sturdy, easy to adjust and the power delivery is nice and steady under load. I use it as a PSU to feed a DC LiPo smart charger and so far, very happy with it, it is rock solid. Even under load I never heard the fan spin I guess I have not pushed it hard enough but it looks good so far.
