NICHE Starter Solenoids & Relays
- A starter solenoid is a switch that creates a contact point between the battery and the starter.
- When the starter button is pressed, it energizes the coil, which pushes a contactor to complete the circuit. This transfers DC current from the battery to the starter
- Knowing how to test the solenoid on your offroad vehicle is an important step to troubleshooting starting problems on your machine
- In a lot of cases, ignition problems where potentially-faulty spark plugs, wires, and coils have been ruled out, the starter is often blamed as the culprit

Not sure how long it will last but after install( I am not a professional) the ATV started right up, outstanding

Main lugs were fine the two smaller plugs didn't work for the OEM harness had to cut off and crimp on ring connectors as the pins on solenoid were smaller diameter than the OEM push on connectors. Not really an issue for an older quad but they were different and took minor modifications to make it work for the smaller wires on this solenoid.

This solenoid seems to be built pretty well. Just a couple dollars more than some others, but probably worth it. I would recommend. Also, it comes w/ washers and new nuts for the cable attachments.

This product looked and fit exactly like OEM, worked perfectly… Right up until the last day eligible for return, then it failed, frozen in closed circuit state. I would not recommend this product, longevity is definitely suspect.

This was a perfect fit and works without any issues for my Polaris no more just clicking sound when attempting to start it up.

Replaced a cheaper unit that failed after two days. I've used Niche parts all over my quad and will continue to. Put this unit on the day before a multi state trip where it was beat up in the desert. Still works great!

Solenoid doesn't work tried to return for a refund but return postage is more than the solenoid is worth. Would not recommend.
