Great product. I had borrowed a neighbor's...they appear the same. Neighbor's is supposedly 40 years old. They DO make 'em like they used to, apparently.

Got it for putting bands on ice fishing rods to keep reels on. Saves a lot of time when you have multiple set ups. Found out you shouldn't leave reels on rods during off season, compresses cork.

It's a castrator band applicator, and that is what it does. I use it on goats and t it works for my needs.If you try and spread it too wide, the band might fly off, but it doesn't need to be that wide to apply. The thickness of the band being used can also make a difference. It is useful when necessary.

No complaints- These forceps do the job to band our goats and sheep. Works with a variety of band types, and we have had no issue using them heavily. Great product

Well made product. We banded our goat bucklings - the procedure was much easier than expected. Surprisingly, we did not notice any discomfort with our bucklings (we banded them as soon as their pieces fell into their bucket).

I bought it to open stuffable ballons. It didn't open wide enough to stuff anything in the ballon will return.
